misslalaphotography strives to make your photo session an amazing experience!
We provide all the love & care you & your family deserve.  
It is important to us that you are happy & feel comfortable.
You are not just our client, you are our guest, our friend, our family.  

NEWBORN SESSION INFO:
-Newborns generally photograph better within 5-10 days of birth.  (we take into consideration premature babies, NICU babies etc).  At this time they are more squishy and able to curl into poses.  They also sleep heavier which makes it easier to mold & move them around without disturbing them (which also allows for a faster session)   


Please allow 2-3 hours for newborn shoots. Remember, Baby is Boss!  
We may stop anytime for changing & feeding

  • Bring extra food & bottles if bottle feeding, extra diapers, pacifier for soothing & burp cloths
  • Try to hold off feeding baby until you get here
  • Feed baby when you arrive to get them nice & full ..& SLEEPY :)
  • Dress baby in something that is easily taken off so we don't disturb them 
  • Parents should wear light neutral colors. (You may also want to bring your wedding rings.)
  • solid colors work best - mom & dad may also want to keep the tones of their clothing similar.  Please bring a change of clothes incase there are accidents ON you.
  • Dry flakey skin & baby acne are common - we will retouch the images.

*You will be required to fill out a model release form which allows us to post your photos to our website *this form must be signed in order to proceed with our session.


**All props, hats, blankets etc are all cleaned & washed in baby safe detergent prior to & after each session.
